Keep track of your heart health with LotFancy blood pressure monitors. The standard D-Ring cuff blood pressure monitor allows you to accurately track of your systolic/ diastolic blood pressure and heart rate with date and time stamp easily at home. The digital sphygmomanometer bp cuff fits adult arms measuring between 8.6 to 14.2 inches. Easy-to-read large LCD display allows for all ages to use, especially the seniors.

Tips to Monitor Blood Pressure at Home:
The blood pressure in the morning can be significantly different than at night, or when you visit a doctor’s office. Your numbers often change depending on posture, exercise, diet, medications, emotions or sleep. To get a more accurate assessment of your blood pressure, we suggest you to measure your blood pressure at the same time every day with peace of mind and follow the tips before you get started.
-
Avoid food, caffeine, alcohol, or tobacco products for 30 minutes prior to measuring.
-Rest and sit up straight with your back against the chair, legs uncrossed, feet flat on the floor.
-Place your forearm on an armrest or table with palm of your hand facing up.
-After sitting quietly for five minutes, wrap the cuff snugly around the upper part of your bare left arm. The lower edge of the cuff should be about 1 inch above the bend of your elbow. Use the Velcro wrap to make the cuff snug, but not too tight.
-If you want to repeat the measurement, please wait at least 10 minutes before re-inflating the cuff.

Find the Right Cuff:
Cuff size is also very important in ensuring an accurate reading every time you monitor.
The inflatable part of the sleeve should fit around 80 percent of your upper arm.
To determine your arm size, use a cloth measuring tape and measure the circumference of your left upper arm midway between your elbow and shoulder.

This product gives fast, accurate readings. I am a nurse and am very choosy when selecting a blood pressure cuff. I had had several wrist cuffs that do not give accurate readings. I have measured using both this and manual readings and this usually reads the same or very close to manual reading. This is what I use on myself and my family to check our blood pressures at home. It also has some neat features. It has red, yellow , green ranges for the blood pressures . I know the ranges, but for a person who does not, this is a great feature. I have used more expensive cuffs that did not work nearly as well. I am so glad that I found this product. I will be buying another one for my mother.

Up to 30 samples in memory. Does take some time to show readout. . .
    • Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2015
I have used many simply because of my job. I have used anyones from the ever popular Omron to generics. First off, I prefer the arm vs finger or wrist because they tend to be more accurate and less prone to inaccurate readings due to positioning. This s oscillometric method, ranges 0mmHG - 300mmHG, pulse range 30 - 180 beats/min, claims accurate +/- 3mmHG and about 5% of pulse rate. Cuff is 8.6" to 14.2". Long story short:

      Pros:
      - lightweight, has rubber feet
      - good length of air hose
      - large numbered easy to read screen
      - simple functions, not overly complicated so you know it's a BP machine not a iPad
      - medium cuff, strong velcro and easy enough to strap with one hand
      - stores multiple users (up to 4)
      - FDA CE - claims it can detect irregular beats and WHO Classification indicator
      - nylon zip up carry case

      Cons:
      - no AC adapter included - uses DC 6V, 1000mA positive in, neg outside 2.1mm coaxial joint
      - 4 AA batteries claims to last about 2 mo at 3 tests per day- battery lid a little thin than I'd like but not a deal breaker
      - air line connection is just a plastic friction push-in type not like a twist lock or anything more secure but it holds so we'll see

Overall, consider most others charge the avg 20 to 50 bucks more and they do not claim FDA-CE. This is not overly complex and not bottom basic either. I think the complaints of inaccuracies must be taken with a grain of salt. Arm machines are more consistently accurate than wrist or finger but you need to make sure you place the cuff on properly and sit with arm relaxed and about heart height. The brachial artery (inner part of the bicep/arm just underneath the bicep muscle) should be in line or between the indexing lines marked clearly in white on the cuff. Otherwise you would get bad readings. So far it seems good surprisingly from a company that isn't as mainstream as I've known.

update: 9/28/16 still alive and working! Still pulling out consistent numbers and being used heavily again with the birth of my second resulting in lingering blood pressure issues. This is a work horse, we are happy with it.

update: 8/28/18 - well, technically it is still working but one of the LCD gave out so the display no longer displays 8,6 and such properly. Otherwise, it still pumps and measure as accurate as I can figure the numbers. All things considered, not bad at all for the price and keep in mind this guy was in daily use at least 2 times a day. Since mom is getting on, I opted to get another Lotfancy but with a larger display and I have the same if not better expectations for it as well. Not bad at all....

I have to take my BP frequently. I used to have to run to the Dr office to have this done but decided some months ago to get my own cuff to use at home. I now take this "LotFancy BP monitor" with me on regular visits to the Dr. office. There we have verified the accuracy several times. The LotFancy monitor is usually within a few points of the Dr. office reading. The monitor automatically stores you BP readings from home in the machine so you can later write them down for the Dr. or he can scroll through the readings himself.

It works very well but instructions don't tell how to use cuff! It took me 3 weeks of use to figure it out. My friend could not figure it out. The smooth side goes against your skin. The other side contains the 2 parts (male and female) of Velcro on the same side. Now the end has a metal band that is on it. The belt goes through that if it is not already like that. The part that goes through this has the male Velcro on it. This makes it so it can be folded and stick to the part that is on what was the same side. Here is my new article on the one thing that causes high blood pressure: http://hub.me/ajMJb

This unit replaced two earlier wrist BP monitors, a ReliOn and an Omron which proved inaccurate when tested against physicians manual systems and upscale automated systems. Tests on the LotFancy unit show very good correlation so long as not reading through bulky garments.

I like the Lot Fancy design and the relatively comprehensive instructions they provide. Of note the LotFancy reads systolic and diasystolic pressures during descending pressure just as the traditional manual procedures do. The Omron and ReliOn units read during the pressurization period.

Most important feature of these automated units is the ability to detect skipped or irregular heartbeats.
