Not just your average tiger-tail style muscle roller. Had this in the van with six runners and three different style tiger-tail rollers for the Reach the Beach relay. This one was the one everyone wanted to use. Why do we like it? It's rigid: a steel bar with zero flex; plus it's got a hard rubber roller covering with little round bumps. For the deep tissue penetration runners need for cramped, stiff muscles and to break up scar tissue and adhesions in any muscle groups on the legs, this Swift roller works like a champ. The other rollers I've tried are too flexible and innocuous to hit the deeper pressure points as hard. It's help me combat bouts of plantar fasciitis and tight soleus and quads. This roller is so tough that you could also use it to fight off an attacker or a pack of wild dogs.

This stick works well, seems sturdy enough and has been extremely helpful for my calves/achilles tendon. It's smaller than I anticipated, but it is big enough to work on any muscle that I've needed it for. Plus, the smaller size has made it more convenient to travel with so I don't need to bring a foam roller on trips.

Was not aware of plastic parts on the roller. They pinch the skin when rolling. As if rolling didn't hurt enough, I would not recommend this product.

Its simply a good product, i have no problems with it. The item is sturdy in every way, and works just the way its suppose to! the only thing that didnt match what i expected was the length. The angle that the image shows the roller from makes it look longer than it actually is. It's length doesn't matter though if it does a great job at achieving its purpose!! I would recommend this well priced product to anyone looking for a simple roller for any of their tight sore muscles :) I'm so happy with it!

First of all, this shipped super fast - even with a holiday weekend! I finally decided to purchase a stick after using a rolling pin for a while. This stick is not flexible at all, which I prefer. The handles are padded, which I feel is worth mentioning because it gives the user a good grip. I like the little nubs on the roller, they feel great on stiff muscles. This has been great for warming up muscles and loosening them when they're stiff; I've also been using it after workouts to minimize sore muscles later. There are actually several individual rollers (it's not just a single long one) which seems to help concentrate pressure on a particular spot. It is a little shorter than I expected, but it doesn't matter to me since I'm fairly petite. I only mention this because it might be a problem for someone who is taller or just bigger in general.

I use this primarily for easing muscle stiffness in the legs, and it works well for getting in deep - you can adjust the pressure to your liking. It helps reduce recovery time after workouts. It's a little short to use on the back if you're a larger person, but with a little maneuvering you can roll out areas that are hard to massage with your own hands, such as shoulders and meaty area of the thighs.

Cheap looking. Not as good quality as I had thought. Shipper did prompt and that part was very good.
