I Just got this in the mail today and I already LOVE it! I did have the Now Foods wood grain diffuser and hated it so I returned it and got this instead! Boy oh boy am I glad I did because the river rock actually works and gets the oils and scent into the air!
So to compare the two :
The Riverock by Deneve - it's amazing and I love it so much! I have a huge kitchen with my bedroom to the side and a tiny doorway to the living room and I can smell it very strong in the kitchen, Okay in my room, and strong in the living room! So obviously this diffuser actually gets the oils in the air and disperses them evenly throughout the house which is what I wanted in a diffuser! This diffuser literally only takes a 5-6 drops of oil for hours of scent - the whole time it runs to be exact! It is small but packs a punch! I can't even hear a noise coming from it yet , but I have two loud little boys so hopefully I can hear the soothing sound it supposedly makes later :) I also love that it is user friendly , is so easy to use , and that it is appealing to the eye! I really can't believe I actually found a diffuser that works and diffuses the scent and oils throughout the air like it's supposed too and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! I can't say how long it will last as I got it today , but that is another reason why I picked this one - the one year satisfaction guarantee!!! I love that it comes with the one year gaurantee so I can have a piece of mind if something does go wrong with it the company will be able to make it right. I really do hope this Riverock lasts though because I love it!
The Now foods diffuser- it never evenly distributed the oil throughout the air and it wasted my oils cause everytime It auto shut off and I checked it had half the water left in it and all of the oils where still floating on top! Literally I would smell the oils when I was right next to it , but the scent never distributed throughout my home! All in all it made me waste a lot of my oils at first because I thought I wasn't putting enough - but I definitely was! It was NOT user friendly and was very hard to refill and get it started up and was very cheaply made. Was very easy to tip over and never ran the whole 8 hours it was supposed too, it always shut off when the bottom was still full of water.
So that is a comparison. Seriously if you are hesitating to buy the Riverock by Deneve ...then don't! I love mine and am so happy with it! you will not be disappointed!
