A summer staple and one of the longest-running national physique committee bodybuilding competitions is all set to commence at Colorado State University Pueblo’s Hoag Hall.
This championship is done under the supervision of personal trainer Mark Salazar. Here both male and female bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts all across Southwest come together for national qualification and recognition and $10,000 worth of trophies.
This year more than 100 competitors are expected from New Mexico, Texas, Wyoming, Kansas, and Utah. Here women will be judged on the basis of women’s figure, bikini and physique whereas men will be judged on the basis of physique and bodybuilding. Each class will have these categories – teens, novice, masters, and open class divisions.

Salazar said
“Over many years, we have had some truly remarkable guest posers. But we are truly honored to have JoJo Ntiforo coming in from Albuquerque with his team of athletes. What makes this a rare event is that Ntiforo will be but five days out of a pro show in Chicago.
He will truly be in amazing shape.”
Salazar was also a part of powerlifting but his passion for bodybuilding is newfound.
He said
“The NPC Steel City Show has impacted my life and has given me the ability to help motivate and inspire others by sharing my competing experience, health awareness, training knowledge and overall journey,”
The tickets for this event are priced at $25 and $35 for the finals. The tickets are available at npcsteelcity.com.
