Now, keep holding the bar with both hands, and try to flex your toes to touch the ground. Keep doing so until your arm muscles tire out. Vertical hanging is one of those stretches to grow taller before bed.
Repeat the vertical hanging stretch 3 or 4 times in a week.
- Who Says That You Can Never Grow Taller Once You Are 18 Years Of Age? They surely haven’t heard about exercises to grow taller after 18! Using ankle weights can be a great way to stretch the cartilage between your knees and increase the length of the lower part of your body.
For this exercise, you will need to sit atop a high chair and fasten weights to your ankle. Gently stretch your legs down with the pressure of the weights. Remove the weights after this and relax your legs by kicking them gently 5 to 10 times. After this kick your legs again, this time vigorously, 5 to 10 times again. Your knee cartilage gets flexed, increasing your height.
You need to do this exercise 3 to 4 times per week for the best results.
- For stretches to grow taller during puberty, the forward spine stretch is excellent.
What you need to do for this exercise is just take an exercise mat and sit tall on it. Extend your legs the same width as your shoulders and flex your feet. Extend your arms outwards in front of you as well. Now, inhale and try to bend forward with your head dipped down, letting your shoulders relax. Aim to touch the tips of your toes with your fingers.
Repeat this 3 or 4 times and hold your stretch for at least 10 to 15 second.
- The Superman Stretch Is Also Very Effective.
Simply lie face down extending your arms and legs and your neck in a neutral position. Now, keep your torso stationary and lift up your arms and legs simultaneously forming U shape with your body. Your back will be arched and limbs several inches off the floor. Hold for 2 to 5 seconds and repeat in 3 sets of 12.
