Many lives have been lost this year due to the pandemic and various other reasons. Some of them were idols for many people, but alas we miss, celebrities who died in 2021, rare gems have been lost this year.

Let’s take a look at Indian Celebrities who died in 2021

1. Sidharth Shukla

Sidharth Shukla was an Indian TV actor who died recently. He was an actor, host, and model who worked in the Indian television and film industry. Unfortunately, he died from a heart attack on the morning of 2^nd September at the mere age of 40.

2. Anupam Shyam

Known for playing negative role in tv serial Pratigya, Anupam Shyam Ojha was a veteran Indian film and television actor. He died on 8^th August due to Kidney Failure. He was 63 years old.

3. Saranya Sasi

Saranya Sasi was a famous Malayalam and Tamil film actress. She also worked in many soap operas. She died on 9^th August due to covid19 related complications. She was just 35 years old.

4. Dilip Kumar

The celebrated actor Dilip Kumar was also among the Bollywood celebrities who died in 2021. Dilip Kumar was admitted to thehospital o 30^th June, and on 7^th July he passed away at the age of 98.

5. Virbhadra Singh

Virbhadra Singh was an Indian politician affiliated to the Indian National Congress, served 6 terms and 21 years as the 4^th chief minister of Himachal Pradesh. Virbhadra Singh tested positive for Covid19 and died on 8^th July due to multiple organ failure.

6. Yashpal Sharma

Indian International cricketer and an explosive middle-order batsman, died on 13^th July due to a severe heart attack at the age of 66.

7. Surekha Sikri

The veteran actor and national award winner Surekha Sikri was also one of the celebrities who died in 2021. She died on 16^th July from a cardiac arrest at the age of 75.

8. Chandrashekhar G. Vaidya

Ramayan Fame actor Chandrashekhar G. Vaidya was a Bollywood Filmmaker and actor. He died on 17^th June at the age of 98 due to age-related illnesses.

9. Milkha Singh

An ex-army officer Milkha Sikh, commonly known as the Flying Sikh, died due to Covid 19 complications on 18^th June. He was 91 years old.

10. Raj Kaushal

Raj Kaushal is also on the celebrity death list 2021. He suffered a cardiac arrest and died in the early morning hours on 30^th June. Breaking all taboos, his last rights were performed by his wife, Mandira Bedi.

11. Amit Mistry

Amit Mistry is another young name among the celebrity death of 2021. He felt an ache in his heart and died of the heart attack even before he could be hospitalized. He was 47 years old.

12. Bikramjeet Kanwarpal

Bikramjeet Kanwarpal is amongst those celebrities death in 2021 who died of covid 19 complications. He died on 2^nd May at the age of 52.

13. Sriprada

Sriprada was a veteran actress who acted in Hindi and Bhojpuri Films. She died on 6^th May at the age of 64.

14. Ajit Singh

Indian politician Arijit Singh was the founder and chief of Rashtriya Lok Dal, a political party recognized in Uttar Pradesh. He died due to Covid19 related issues on 6^th May at the age of 82.

15. Pandu

Known for playing comic roles in Tamil movies, Pandu was a film actor and graphic designer. He died on 6^th May at the age of 74 due to Covid19 complications.

16. Vanraj Bhatia

Winner of the National Film Award for best music direction, Vanraj Bhatia died on 7^th May owing to old age. He was 93 years old.

17. Vijay Patil alias Raamlaxman

A beloved and talented composer, Vijay Patil alias Raamlaxman passed away on 22^nd May due to a heart attack. He was 78 years old.

18. Shashikala Saigal

Shashikala Saigal was an Indian veteran actor who played supporting roles in various Indian films. She was awarded the Padmashree in 2007. She died on 4^th April in her Mumbai residence at the age of 88.

19. Shravan Rathod

Shravan Rathod, one of the Shravan-Nadeem composer duo, passed away on 23^rd April because of covid 19 related issues. He was 66 at that time.

20. Pandit Rajan Mishra

Pandit Rajan Mishra was an Indian classical Singer and performed along with his brother Pandit Sajan Mishra. In 2007, they were awarded the Padma Bhusan. Pandit Rajan Mishra passed away on 5^th April due to a Cardiac arrest caused by Covid19 related complications. He was 70 years old.

21. Rohit Sardana

Rohit Sardana was an Indian news anchor and media personality who worked for Zee Tv and later for Aaj Tak. He died on 30^th April from a heart attack after testing positive for Covid19 at the age of 41.

22. Chandra Tomar

Indian Octogenarian Sharpshooter Chandra Tomar was the oldest female sharpshooter and a Feminist icon. She passed away on 30^th April due to Covid19. She was 89 years old.

23. Rajiv Kapoor

An actor from the Kapoor family, Rajiv Kapoor, died on 9^th February due to a cardiac arrest. However, he leaft behind a memorable legacy just like Randhir and Rishi Kapoor.

24. Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan

Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan was a renowned Indian Classical Musician. He was awarded Padma Shri in 1991, Padma Bhusan in 2006, and Padma Vibhusan in 2018. He died on 17^th January at the age of 89 at his Mumbai residence.

25. Narendra Chanchal

Narendra Chanchal Was an Indian singer who mostly sang religious Hymns and devotional Bhajans. He died on 22^nd January at the age of 80 due to age-related issues.
