Emsculpt helped Drew Barrymore Strengthen her Abs

Actress and Flower beauty CEO Drew Barrymore is known to be honest and real and here she maintained the same equation when asked about her fitness journey after having two kids.

The Santa Clarita diet actor opened up about her diet, weight loss, metabolism and much more.

“Everyone is different, and I have the genetic makeup of the Pillsbury Doughboy,”

Drew joked.

“I have to fight so hard to be in shape or be in a smaller size or lower weight, and people don’t talk about the fact that when you have kids, everything goes out but it doesn’t always come back in. You never get your ‘old’ body back, you’re working with a new body.”

The 44-year-old lady added that she feels she is healthiest when she is working out. but while working out, she faced challenges with both her daughters and she immediately had to rush to the physicians’ clinic.

And that’s when she started with Emsculpt. It is a non-invasive FDA approved which claims to bring muscles while you can relax at your core. Drew calls it her “Ab secret”.

She further added

“In order to actually be strong and healthy and exercise, you have to have a strong core, and that was just not in my grasp for the last seven or eight years. I work a lot, my kids come first, and I was like 10th on the list, but I want to look good in my clothes, I want that illusive bitch: 80/20. I’m 44 and I’m asking ‘what are the next few chapters of my life and how are they going to function?’ I needed something to change my physical abilities so that I could actually start living my life.”

Emsculpt looks like a paddle which is attached to the fabric which is wrapped around your core area. The machine is known to emit high-intensity electromagnetic pulses which is equivalent to 20,000 crunches in 30 minutes. Clinical researches have pointed out that there is a 19% increase in muscle thickness after 6-9 months of usage of this treatment.

For Drew, the machine helped her to lose and heal her abs post childbirth. Other than this she also swears by dance yoga, pilates, and cardio.

“You know when you do a moment of the core at the end of a yoga class and everyone groans, and it’s like, ‘you just sweat and worked out for an hour; what was it about that two-minute thing that made everyone moan simultaneously? A lot of exercise pushes you really hard, but you’re not working your core enough.”

As far as her diet is concerned the lady said

“I’ve had a 20 to 25-pound weight loss over the last few years, but it took so much dieting, so when the show would end I would inhale food, and within two months I would gain it all back. You can’t have that level of discipline without being miserable and going off the rails.”
